FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What do I need to do to get started?


Before we start anything it’s always best for me to know as much about your business or project as possible. I always encourage people to send through any inspiration images, Pinterest boards, sketches etc if they already have an idea in mind. I usually will also supply my own style board to ensure we are on the same page or to help with inspiration.

If you are wanting a logo designed I have a logo questionnaire that I send through.




What file types will I receive?


As standard I send through JPEGs, PDFs and PNGs. If there are any other file requirements it’s best to note this at the start of the process. If you’re after editable files then this requires a separate quote.




What is the process?


After getting to know you and what you are after I usually start with some rough concept drafts, and then refine the design down to the finished product. During the process I will send you proofs for your input and feedback, once the refined design is sent through you then have a maximum of three revisions (if required). Where possible my designs are from scratch, illustrations and textures are all my own work and not taken from stock images.

Can you help with printing?


Yes! I have 4 years experience working in the printing industry and can help with finding the right stock/finish and making sure your artwork is setup correctly. See my portfolio here and get in contact for a quote.




How long will my project take?


Project turnaround times can vary. Part of my process is to get your input so there is some back and fourth and I do encourage people to take their time with sending through feedback. I can usually reply to questions and quotes within 24 hours and get back to you with changes within 3-4 business days (if I can get back to you sooner I always do.) If you ever need a project by a particular date please let me know and I can advise if it's achievable.




How and when do I make payment?


New clients are required to pay a 25% deposit on the first job. ​Jobs quoted over $500 may also need a deposit. Once the design has been finalized the invoice will be issued with details to make a direct bank transfer. The final files will be send through and/or printing will be ordered once a receipt of the full payment has been received.

If you are an international client I also can take payments via WeTransfer or PayPal (additional fees may occur for PayPal).
